Iron Cutter Studios

Imagine worlds, Cut the noise, Ship great games.

About Me

I have been a gamer for most of my life. I've played games on a variety of consoles like the PS2, PSP, GameCube, Xbox 360/One, but I ultimately ended up on PC. Over recent years I have become frustrated with the state of AAA companies and their constant profit-over-customer mentality. That's why I decided to start Iron Cutter Studios.

My goal is to create unique and entertaining games that anyone can enjoy. Being part of the movement that puts players first is one of my biggest motivators. I remember a time when games came with physical copies, stickers, maps, and other extras that made the experience feel special. While that era has changed, I aim to capture that same feeling by focusing on what makes games truly great.

So who am I? I'm a developer who believes in building meaningful experiences, a strong supporter of free and open-source software, and someone dedicated to turning ideas into virtual worlds. If that resonates with you, I hope you'll follow along for the ride.

My Favorite FOSS

Godot logo

Godot single handedly sparked my interest in game development. I tried Unity and Gamemaker in the past, but I ultimately fell in love with Godot in the end.

Blender logo

Blender helps me channel my ideas into 3D models. My goal is to create all my assets myself.

Krita logo

Krita is another piece of software I really enjoy. Whether it is pixel art, or hand drawn assets, I really love working with this art tool.
